Mirror in progress
gw2.wiki
A second copy of the Guild Wars 2 Wiki — the player-written reference for Tyria, served from an address we control.
wiki.guildwars2.com is the source of truth and always will be. This site is being built to hold a complete, searchable mirror of it: fast, quiet, permanent links, and still readable when the original is not.
01 — What this will be
Everything the wiki has, in a place that stays up.
The whole wiki, mirrored
Articles, categories, templates, images and their revision history — captured from wiki.guildwars2.com and refreshed on a schedule.
Fast and quiet
Static pages served from Cloudflare's edge. No ads, no trackers, no accounts, no cookie banners, nothing to dismiss before you can read.
Links that keep working
Permanent URLs for every article mirrored, so a link posted in a forum or a guild Discord still lands on the same page in five years.
Readable when the source isn't
The official wikis go offline for maintenance. A mirror keeps the reference in reach while the original works on itself.
02 — Why
Not a fork. Not a replacement. A backup.
The Guild Wars 2 Wiki is the best game reference there is, and like every single-copy service it is a single point of failure. It is offline for maintenance as this page goes up — which is the whole argument, made for us.
Nothing here will override, re-edit or editorialise the original. The aim is a faithful copy: same text, same images, same titles, credited to the same contributors, with every page linking back to its source. Corrections belong on the official wiki, where the people who maintain it can see them.
It is an unofficial fan project. ArenaNet and NCSOFT have no involvement in it and have not endorsed it. See the notices below.
03 — Status
Where this actually is
Kept deliberately blunt. Nothing is listed as done until it is.
